lyrics

A single moon atop a million worlds
is dark to the lone cicada unable to break the soil.
She carried a beggar's bag after the festival
as a comet sparked beneath the ladle
burning toward the western sky.
A race to the western sky!
The one-color world of the western sky.

The mother who rebuked her lazy son
is sleeping rather late into the morning.
A son who trembles looking the new year's herbs
remembers yesterday the salmon were drying at the warf.

A single moon atop a million worlds
Calls the dew to wet the grass with redolence.
Dews that make the leaftips heavy
that help the willows wilt
reaching for the flowers they've recently lost.
Burning toward the western sky.
A race to the western sky!
The one-color world of the western sky.

The mother who rebuked her lazy son
is sleeping rather late into the morning.
A son who trembles looking the new year's herb s
remembers yesterday the salmon were drying at the warf.

The mother who rebuked her lazy son
is sleeping rather late into the morning.
A son who trembles looking the new year's herbs
remembers yesterday the salmon were drying at the warf.
